Adobe InDesign® is a widely used desktop publishing application, suitable for creating flyers, books, catalogs and other marketing materials.

Adobe InDesign® is typically purchased as part of a subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud (sometimes called Adobe CC for short). A single application subscription (e.g. for InDesign) is under $30 per month, a subscription to the full Adobe Creative Cloud software suite (typically including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat) is between approximately $70-$100 depending on the length of your contract.

A seven day trial version of the latest version of Adobe InDesign (currently Adobe InDesign CC or Adobe InDesign CC 2018) is available for download from the Adobe web site.

Note: Adobe Creative Cloud applications are still installed on your local computer, despite the inclusion of the name cloud. Adobe Creative Cloud does include some cloud storage to facilitate collaboration between design team members – the use of this cloud storage is not mandatory (and may not be required at all if you prefer to save files on your local corporate file server or via a file sharing service such as Dropbox, Box, OneDrive or Sharefile).
